Craft Hope, here we come!! Yesterday, I finished two babies for the children in Nicaragua. I used the Baby Bows pattern that is available here. The knit fabric I used was not really a 2-way stretch, so you can see the difference made by laying the pattern out with the grain and against the grain. The pattern suggests using a newborn sleeper as clothing, but the one I bought swallowed the doll completely, so it really needs a preemie size, I guess. I made a little, white cotton diaper for each of the "girls" and once I get them dressed, they'll be ready for their flight. Can't wait to see what the next project will be.

These are adorable babies. Whoever ends up with them will love them a lot. My mom made my Raggedy Ann doll when I was small and she was very well loved! Home made is almost always better!
