Numbers!
Yesterday afternoon after work, I drove over to Ruston, LA to where my youngest daughter lives. As interim director of the regional Arts Council, she was in charge of a Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest and I went over to help her. Each contestant was assigned a number and they placed the number in the sidewalk square of their choice and then began drawing. Being the first activity such as this, she had no idea how many people to expect----2 or 50. So, as people began showing up to draw, it seemed as if we might not have enough chalk to last the three hours. (Some creations were pretty thick with chalk) So, I made a quick run to Dollar Tree to purchase more packages of chalk. In the end, there was plenty of chalk and about 32 entries, with more people drawing for just the fun of it after the contest was over. Winners from both the Children's and Adult division were awarded gift certificates to a local restaurant. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and many even asked if it would available at every First Friday event. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the contest. Be sure to check out other Round Robin entries by clicking on the links at the website.

Hi Linda!
So sorry I'm so late in getting around to our Numbers challenge. My modem died on Saturday and then the weekend just got more and more bizarre! I'm happy to be able to visit today and see all the fun number shots. Enjoy your week!
