While cleaning off the back deck on Saturday, one of the last items to scrub down was my large watering can. As I leaned very close to the opening and began to reach inside, I was surprised by two black eyes and long, green legs as a little tree frog jumped out. He was as surprised as I was and quickly sought refuge in the flowerbed nearby and sat perfectly still as I snapped a couple of photos of him, camouflaged among the leaves.
