Flea Market Frenzy (Part Two)

Saturday morning, we got up bright and early (well, maybe not terribly early, but . . .) and headed to Canton. We met up with our favorite junkin' buddies, Pam and Sandy, to scour the market for some special treasures. Nobody was looking for much in particular, but that's usually when we find the best bargains.

The skies threatened us all morning, but they finally rolled away and let a bit of sun peek through in the afternoon, creating a great day to be outdoors. While we often browse the covered pavilions, this time we spent almost the entire day outside --- back in the unreserved, "junk" area. I loved it!!

We shopped . . .

and scavenged . . .

and learned. . .

and browsed. . .

and laughed !!

I think that the only time we actually sat down to rest was when we stopped for lunch at the Trade Days Cafe'.

Treasures could be found everywhere, with a bit of imagination, persistence and perhaps a smidgeon of bargaining power! I'm still kicking myself for not coming home with that pretty blue suitcase behind Valine's cart.

The variety of goods ranged from "all things Texas" . . .

to all things beautiful . . .

From Mommy's Treasures

. . . and everything in between!

When the day was finally over (although we definitely weren't ready for it to end),

we loaded our car and headed back to my house.
