October 10th, 2010. My mother would be 81 now, had ovarian cancer not taken her eight years ago. A lady of deep faith, endless love, tolerance, patience (and also a little silliness), she used to sing this song to me when I was little. Louise Houston Shaffer was loved by many and is missed by friends and family alike! I am so lucky to have had such wonderful parents!!
