This morning, I awoke to a nice rainy day. I was able to sleep a bit later than usual and it doesn't get much better than sleeping in a nice, comfy bed when it's raining outside! As I prepared to leave, the rain had almost stopped, but there were large puddles everywhere. And robins---all over the place! They obviously were enjoying this slightly cooler weather and the opportunity to take a morning bath. Robins were on the sidewalk,
in the yard, 
on the driveway
---no other birds, just robins.
Where were the mockingbirds and sparrows this morning? Do they not like the rain?
