My progress on Project Life has been hindered a bit lately, but I wanted to show you a few of the layouts I completed prior to surgery. Here are my layouts, plus a few closeups of little details. As you can see, I've kept the "accessorizing" to a minimum, but I still liking the project a lot.
WEEK 2:
WEEK 3: ( I have no idea where that dark line to the right came from)
Since surgery, I've been trying to keep up with each day's events through the "Oh Life" website and my own organizational worksheets. With most of the day free yesterday, I decided to set out my supplies once again (I had to put them away for the Valentine party) and see what I might be able to do to catch up.
I had originally planned to hand write all the journaling this year. Since my parents have passed away, I find that I really enjoy finding notes or letters that are written in their handwriting--it's such a lost art these days. Since I'm not so great at writing letters "snail-mail style", at least I can include my handwriting in some of my scrapbooks, right?! But, given the fact that my right hand will be out of commission for a while, I needed to find other options.
One of the nice things about the journaling cards that Jana had designed for me is that I can actually add text on them before printing them---essential now that I can't write at all! Using the organization sheets, I began transferring the information to them and then printing them out.
Unfortunately, just before I finished stamping all the journaling cards with their dates, I realized that I had forgotten to change the month to February and instead had stamped each one with a January date. :-( Looks like I have a little project to tackle this afternoon.
