M4H Project 52 - Special
Becoming a grandmother has been better than I ever imagined it. Every one of the grandchildren is so wonderful and I love being with them, but there is something so SPECIAL about getting to observe the developmental steps that a baby goes through first-hand, but with fresh eyes. I saw these same stages with my own children, but to get to view it all now, without all the daily stress and responsibilities of raising them, is very SPECIAL, indeed.
Baby D was out of town for about 10 days and when he returned, he was beginning to actually crawl on his knees and had learned to pull up to stand. When he came to the house, he immediately crawled over to the window where the dogs were watching him, and pulled up to play with them through the glass. (Please don't judge all the smears and paw prints on the outside of the window).
