September SNAPS 2014 - Day 7 - All Lined Up
When I think about things that are LINED UP, it usually conjures up an image of similar items all organized in some way. Capturing repetition in photography is a way to add interest to the picture.
While I could have stood in front of these wood slices and taken the picture from above, looking down at them stretched from left to right, I chose to get down low at one end of the row. By doing so, a sense of depth was created. As you capture something ALL LINED UP today, you might want to try a new perspective---get down low or use a different angle.
Be sure to check out the photos of the other participants. If you're not sure how to do that, here are directions:
1. From your Instagram app, click on the starburst icon at the bottom of the screen. This opens up a search window where you can search either by username or by hashtag.
2. Click on the "hashtag" label and then type in #septemberSNAPS 2014.
3. All of the photos of participants will show up. You can click on each one to see it closer and get a little bit of inspiration.
4. After clicking on an individual picture, feel free to click "follow" to make a new friend!
